The DOC Education and Advice Team is composed of five individuals who have between them over 100 years of experience in the practise and teaching of physical therapy disciplines. Telephone lines are manned during office hours and members enquiries are also handled by email, and social media.

M.DOC
M.DOC stands for “Member of the Democratic Orthopathic Council” and is the most sort-after designation in Orthopathy. It defines a practitioner as having attained a level of training high enough to have been admitted into membership of the largest and most respected organisations for practitioners of physical therapy in the world. Members in good standing may use the designation M.DOC
Referral service
Free listing on DOC Register of Members for full UK and international practising members. The searchable of Register area is used by Commissioning bodies and the public.
NHS Patient Safety Criteria
DOC members are evidenced as being eligible for GRCCT registration and are then seen to meet NHS Patient Safety Criteria
Representation
The DOC represents its membership at the highest levels and on a wide range of bodies and groups in relation to the education, provision and regulation of physical therapies. These include as a guidance contributor to The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), a number of Parliamentary Groups and as a lead body to the National Regulator – The General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies. (GRCCT)
